ADDITIONAL REUNION INFO — LZ RIVERSIDE

AIRLINE INFO: Northwest Airlines (via Memphis) and Trans World (via St Louis) are the primary carriers that service Paducah’s Barkley Regional Airport. A recent check indicated good availability of flights (both coming into and leaving Paducah) and reasonable prices from all areas of the country. There are more seats via Memphis (Northwest) than there are via St Louis (Trans World). There are 3 car rental companies located at the airport. You may access the web site barkleyregional.com to check on any specials being offered and other information.

**Should you run into any difficulty in scheduling flights (particularly leaving Paducah) that will get you where you need to be in a timely manner (particularly home), please notify me (Ed Allen) immediately with all pertinent info — i.e. flight #, flight times, connections and identify what and where the problem is. I will forward this info to the Marketing Manager at Barkley Regional. If there is enough need (it doesn’t appear that there should be), it may be possible to schedule a special flight to allow desired connecting flights home to be utilized. Other alternatives may be identified also. Please check your needs as soon as possible and let me know of any problem areas. The earlier that we are aware of any difficulties; the greater the opportunity for accomplishing success in addressing these will be. Check now & book later, if you wish.

AREA INFO: Those wishing information on Paducah and Paducah area sites of interest (to visit before, during or after the reunion) may obtain this info by contacting the Paducah/McCracken County Convention And Visitors Bureau. This would include info about Kentucky Lake, Lake Barkley and Land Between The Lakes recreation (and other) opportunities. Phone: 1-800-Paducah (723-8225) E-mail: fun@paducah-tourism.org  Web Site: www.paducah-tourism.org

PRODUCT SALES AVAILABILTY: You may note that we have identified times when Product Sales will be expected to be available. We expect that this will continue to be the case in future reunions. The hardworking individuals who oversee and man this operation have the right to enjoy breakfast and other meals, to clean up and get ready for DQS activities or outings and to enjoy the reunion. While we will do our best to accommodate the needs of the membership, we ask that the respect the rights and needs of those ‘working’ the reunion. Thanks!

Volunteers, who are willing to learn and follow procedures and spend some time manning Product Sales, are needed and would enhance our ability to serve the membership — possibly at additional times. Contact Clyde Larsen or Ed Allen, or see us at the reunion, to volunteer.

PLEASE RESPECT THE PROPERTY OF OTHERS! Over the years some items that our members have brought to our reunions to share with their brothers have been lost, misplaced, damaged or whatever. Much of what we bring is irreplaceable!! Please do your part in allowing our brothers to continue to share with each other. Put items back where you found them or where they belong - handle items carefully. If you desire a copy of something, ask. Most are willing to accommodate their brothers in one manner or another. Information on where or how to get items will be shared, if you ask. With proper respect, we will protect the sharing that we now enjoy! Thanks! We know we can count on your cooperation.
