Chinese Auction - 2001

Once again the DQS Ladies put on a successful, fun event. Our members and others donated some very nice items and bidding activity was strong. We appreciate the effort of the ladies in support of our organization and the fun we enjoy from this event. Of course, we couldn't do it without the donators and the bidders. THANKS TO ALL!!

2001 - Jim Snu'th, Art Johnson and Duane GettlerCONGRATULATIONS!

DQS SPIRIT BENEFITS OGS

Paul 'Lucky' Conley displayed the best of DQS Spirit at our 2001 Reunion in Paducah, KY. Paul was the winner of the Half-Pot Drawing at the Paducah VFW Post on 7-4-01. He generously donated his winnings to the Operation Gold Star Fund. After winning the Afghan (no, Sally didn't win it this year) at the Chinese Auction, he put it up for auction with the proceeds to go to the Operation Gold Star Fund. Spirited bidding, urged on by John Huelsenbeck, ensued. By the time that the dust had settled, the Afghan had been auctioned 3 times! Thanks Paul! Great going guys!

We offer our THANKS to Mrs. Ed Willmarth who donates an Afghan each year to help support our organization. We appreciate this!

Start planning now to make our Auction in Minnesota a good one!
