REUNION DATES - NOW & FUTURE

To establish clarity in regard to DQS Reunion Dates, we offer the following. The DQS Reunion will be held (unless otherwise announced due to site related factors) during the second half of the week that contains the second full weekend in July.

Therefore: 2005 July 6-10   2006 July 5-9   2007 July 11-15 and so on. Hopefully this will help all in planning your vacations and attendance at our reunions.

LAST CHANCE!!
INDIVIDUAL WEAPON SHIRTS & JACKETS

In response to requests received, we will place one (1) more order for T-shirts and Jackets with the individual weapons (Duster, Quad, Searchlight) on them. Use the Order Form in this newsletter to order. Order must be made by May 15th.

** We will make every effort to 'hold' to the pricing for the Jackets that is on the Order Form. We will not be able to guarantee this until we know the number of Jackets to be ordered and place a preliminary order with the vendor. If a price variation is required, you will have a brief opportunity to cancel your order, if desired. Call Clyde, if you have questions.      (847)-695- 7659

All remaining stock of these items will be available at the reunion. Our intent is to have the 'new design' T-shirts and Jackets at the reunion also.

A Branson Tip: Stone Hill Winery offers a Free Tour & Wine Tasting that takes maybe 45 minutes to an hour - including shopping time. Some of you may find this to a an enjoyable, interesting outing

KOKOMO (Indiana Vietnam Veterans reunion): Hugh Roberts, (989)-637-4229, is heading up our effort in securing camping lots at Kokomo. Contact Hugh with any questions or thoughts. This is held the 3rd weekend in September and DQS regularly has a nice sized group attending. Hotel accommodations are available, also.

BEREAVEMENT: John Huelsenbeck, (260)-347-2898, has volunteered to head up our effort to acknowledge losses due to deaths of DQS Vets and their families. Let John know of your loss and/or that of other DQS Vets. We will do our best to send flowers and/or a card when we have timely notification. Belatedly, we will do want seems appropriate. We will need your help to be aware of losses! Contact John with TAPS info (past & present) as he is to supply TAPS items for the newsletter.

Reunion Notices in Publications: Lloyd Stokes, (256)-721-0913, will be heading up this effort. Each year we desire to place such notices in as many appropriate publications as possible. To improve our effort everyone is asked to send to/contact him with the Name of the Publication, Contact/Submittal Info-including deadlines and whether or not you wish to make the submittal. Lloyd will develop a list and keep record on who/if the contact is made. He will make submittals in the absence of a volunteer to do so. Help us reach those who 'find' us via these notices!
