THE TENNESSE MEMORIAL WALL
We were indeed fortunate to have the Tennessee Memorial Wall, which honors those from the Volunteer State who paid the supreme sacrifice in Vietnam, on display at the hotel in conjunction with our reunion. It also honors those who's service brought them some of the highest honors that our nation bestows. This display is done in a very realistic and impressive manner, including the representations of items left at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in DC. Some of us were fortunate in being able to help set up this fine display.
I'm not sure that everyone was aware that Garry Miller of Chattanooga, who conceived, constructed and who brought the display to our reunion, is one of us. This display is a part of his efforts on behalf of his VVA Chapter. We are pleased that he took his time and made the effort to share it with us. THANKS, GARRY! WELL DONE!
We wish that Garry and his wife and friends could have joined us for more of our activities during the reunion; but we are pleased that the response of the public, who came to view the display, was such that they were kept very busy.

THANKS LADIES!
We wish to thank the ladies who ran the Chinese Auction at this year's reunion. Job well done! Our thanks also to all who donated the many fine items and all who bid on these items. It is a fun activity and contributes to our finances also. Think ahead this year and try to get people and/or businesses back home to donate items that you can bring to be auctioned. We're looking forward to a bigger and better auction in Baton Rouge!
Our 1/2 Pot Winners at Knoxville were: Bruce Geiger and Lou Block. Congratulations! Thanks to all who helped and all who participated!
We wish to acknowledge the contribution of Rick Clyde, nephew of Randy King, who produced the durable, colorful bumper sticker and sent them to us on consignment. He has returned his share of the proceeds as a donation to the organization! We join proud DQS'er Randy in thanking his nephew for his support!
