Some have asked, "When are the Dues Donations due?" or "How do I know when to send in my Dues Donation?" Here is the answer. Our 'Dues Year' runs from January 1 through December 31 each year. All are encouraged to send their Dues Donation (along with any additional donation they may desire to make) as early in the year as is possible. To be considered a 'paid up member in good standing' Dues Donations must be in by, or received at, the reunion ('normal' reunion date is in early July).

1999 Dues Donations are now being accepted! Remember, when your 1999 Dues Donation is received, we will send you our recently re-instated DQS Membership Card. It is very attractive (Thanks Smitty!) and you should be proud to carry and/or display it. We are looking at and are considering other possibilities for those who support our organization via Dues Donations, but cannot confirm at this time.

Dues Donations are the lifeblood of our (any) organization and are vital to the continuation of our efforts and the continued enjoyment of our reunions, newsletters and etc. Any additional activities, benefits and other can only be realized through an increase in the number of members making their Dues Donation, and making their Dues Donation on a yearly basis. Make your Dues Donation (and any additional donation you desire to make) a yearly event!

Let's make this a record year in the number of paid memberships!! We would be pleased to need to order additional membership cards. In fact, if you make this happen, we (the officers and etc.) will come up with some way to entertain you (pay you back) at the reunion. (Hopefully we will be able to retain at least a shred of dignity!) DO IT TO US!

Now would be a good time to canvass you family, friends, neighborhood and/or community for items to be donated for our Chinese Auction at the reunion. This has grown into fun event at our reunions and the ladies have been doing an excellent job of running it! Each year the number of items has increased, as has the participation. Let's make this year's auction even bigger and better! The ladies are ready! Now, bring in the goods and come prepared to bid! Remember that all proceeds go to DQS.
