The possibility of providing such for us at some time in the future was broached. Moe is not reporting specific details at this time; preferring to take a low profile (sort of 'under the table') approach so as to secure the best deal possible for us, should we find ourselves in a position to take advantage of the offer. Isn't it just like a Searchlight'er to scan the AO for possibilities? And we might note that, once he illuminated the 'target', he switched to infra-red so as to not alert 'others' that he was 'on to something'. Well done Moe!
Many other sites were visited by the following that were in D. C. for Veterans Day:
John & Sally Huelsenbeck, Jim & Sandy Smith, John & Sylvia Goins, Gary & Chris Puro and friends, Warren Locascio and his daughter (Karen), Mr. & Mrs. Bill Jordan. Joe Parrish & wife (Connie) and daughter (Kelly), Joe Belardo and his/our friend Joe Barlow (25th Inf), John Rowe, Lou Block, Dale Peters, Don Wolfe, George Nagelschmidt, Moe Strader, Ed Allen, Hugh Roberts, Steve Moore, Bruce Geiger, Jim 'Doc' Butler, Dennis Ruth, Vinnie Tedesco, Paul Kopsick, Paul Conley, Barry Willever, Earl Holt, Wally Owens, John Norris, Al 'Sandy' Gilles, John Mowatt and John Devlin. Though we were unable to connect with them, Duane Barnhart and Bill Quintas were there also.
CHANGES - HELP! - CHANGES
In addition to members actually moving, many other address and information changes are occurring. Many rural addresses are changing (without anyone moving) due to 911 needs or requirements. Zip Codes are being changed/added and Area Codes for phone numbers are also being changed/added. E-mail services and/or addresses are being switched or changed also. All of these are making it even more difficult to keep current with your information and for us (and others) to keep in touch with you (newsletter and etc.). In fact, it is reaching nightmare proportions. Please help us by letting us know of any changes that occur as soon as you become aware of them. Many newsletters are being returned to us ($$) due to these factors. If we are lucky (phone $), we are able to re-mail ($) these to you. If not, you miss out (so do we) - both now and until/if the correct info. is located/received. Help us to continue to serve/inform you! THANKS!
