This will be a short newsletter to get some reunion related information out in time for you to MAKE THOSE RESERVATIONS. Don't Delay - Make Them Today! Come and Enjoy! DQS FELLOWSHIP - it doesn't get any better than that! The only way that it can get better is if YOU are there! The pleasure of your company is requested.

REUNION OVERVIEW

WEDNESDAY - July 7: (Pre-reunion event) Gary Puro will lead those wishing to visit Jackson Barracks and Museum where the predecessor of 1/44 Arty was formed 100 years ago) to its location near New Orleans. A morning departure is planned.

The hotel hosts a cocktail & hors d'oeuvre party for all guests on Wednesdays . The DQS'ers may enjoy, if they choose. We will begin decorating the Hospitality Room on this evening.

THURSDAY - July 8: We will continue decorating the Hospitality Room, welcome arriving DQS'ers and begin sharing memories. VHS tapes will be available for viewing. Scrap books & momentos from Vietnam (BE SURE to bring yours) will be available for browsing and a lot of remembering or getting to know each other will occur. Product Sales and Sign-In Operations will commence.

The hotel will host a 'Welcoming Hors D'oeuvre and Cocktail Party' for those attending the DQS Reunion in the evening. Enjoy! We will continue the day's activities and hold a 1/2 Pot Drawing as the evening continues.

FRIDAY - July 9: A trip to Nottaway Plantation ($6 per person) is planned for the morning. We plan on departing by 8:15 am. We will do ride sharing to accommodate those needing transportation. We should all be back at the hotel by noon. The Reunion Stamp Cancellation is panned for the afternoon (in the Hospitality Room) along with more visiting and etc.
