Glen; Another oddball USMC vehicle was the M76 "Otter" Amphibious Cargo carrier. It was roughly similar to a panel truck's cargo box & cab but was full-tracked with pneumatic road wheels, for cushioned suspension. I think it was the only full-track vehicle in Vietnam that could actually become inoperable because of 'flat tires' from shrapnel, etc. With Marines (in Vietnam) having courage was more important than having the latest technology.
