Glen; Another oddball USMC vehicle was the M76 "Otter" Amphibious Cargo carrier. It was roughly similar to a panel truck's cargo box & cab but was full-tracked with pneumatic road wheels, for cushioned suspension. I think it was the only full-track vehicle in Vietnam that could actually become inoperable because of 'flat tires' from shrapnel, etc. With Marines (in Vietnam) having courage was more important than having the latest technology.Moderated By: pkopsick@yahoo.com
