I stand to correct my self on the RPG incident. It was later in the year. I was an e-5 when this happened. I was not promoted until Capt Brackeen took over the battery(A). I'll check for an exact date but more like Oct or Nov I believe. I wish some one could remember the other squad leaders name. He was a true hero. If he'd stopped the track we all would have been killed I would guess. He was tough and never reported his injuries by radio. He drove to the Corpman bunker in c-2 and passed out!!!
