It’s a Saturday, and as your treasurer, I just finished making up a deposit of 17 checks from all over the country. I am amazed at your interest in NDQSA. We don't send out a bill for dues, but you voluntarily send in dues---some for even three or four years in advance. Some of you even feel guilty and send in dues that are overdue. It is also gratifying how many are willing to volunteer to help out in the administration of our organization. If you haven’t been involved, all sorts of issues come up that need attention. All of this comes from a group of men who 30 to 40 years ago came from different backgrounds and maybe only knew a dozen others you served with because we operated in small, geographically separated sections. The internet and cell phones help make all of this possible---a little different than the crank phone I used in 1967 at Bearcat.
