The VFW hosts the Veterans Day observance in Leesville, LA. near Fort Polk. I had the pleasure of helping to plan the event. In the past the speakers recognized all local and not so local politicians. We decided that was bull shit!!!!!!
So we found a veteran from every war and conflict starting with WWII and seated them in the honor position for the day and recognized them by name for their service.
The 5 DQS books I ordered for my grand children came in the mail today. They were in good condition. My thanks to Paul and the book comittee for their excellent work.
