I have contacted the Gold Star Mothers on both a National and Regional Level to see if there is any interest among the Vietnam era women in a trip. Three Mothers have expressed a desire to go. I am evaluating all aspects of arranging a last Operation Gold Star trip to Vietnam. The primary mission is to get the Mothers to the casualty sites. Preliminary information would indicate that we would be from the Delta to the DMZ. Any DQS members who would have an interest in acting as escorts for these women should contact me at rhlauver@juno.com with your phone number and questions.
