Subject: Looking for 1/44th & G-65 Quad crews in 29Apr68 battle at TF Robbie |

Please help me locate the Duster crew or Quad 50 crew that was out with me on 29 April 1968 near Cam Vu with Task Force Robbie.
I believe the Duster crew was from B/1/44 but am not sure which Quad 50 it was.
I had to send the Quad 50 back early because the Marine tanks were hitting mines right and left. The Duster stuck it out with TFRobbie until we retrograded to Cam Lo. Although the Duster crew didn't get any recognition for it, they did drive off a company of NVA that was attempting to flank TFRobbie. It was about 11:30 PM before we returned to Cam Lo. I have a draft of the article I'm preparing and plan to intersperse the narrative with quotes from those who were there. It'd be nice to get a few from the Duster/Quad 50 guys. Please contact the Historian or post on this FORUM if you remember the incident.
