Who else still has their lighter and maybe even still uses it? Mine had the slogan "TO REALLY LIVE, YOU MUST NEARLY DIE"...I bought it at China Beach PX. Just one of the many keepsakes. I wonder what other items bought during your Tour are considered a true treasure? There was a heavy solid brass plaque about 10 inches in diameter. I also brought home a wooden figurine about 14 inches tall of a old man with a vertical stick held in one hand. I've always wondered if the guys on later tours were confronted with the same merchandise offerings as us in 1966/1967, in I Corps? Does anyone still have their truck tire sandles, or aluminum-foil pans? Just curious...cause you could bring them to the reunion. Moderated By: pkopsick@yahoo.com
