Paul; I like that 'reunion table' idea, as long as it can be guarded. I've seen recently that our old MPCs in $1.00 denominations are selling for as much as $20.00 each (Series 641), so don't foolishly just give them away. I understand too that there were about four different MPC Series issued during the war and that each new issue made all prior ones worthless (which was the purpose)...Ain't it funny how now they're worth more than ever! I still have my partially used 'PX Ration Card' and a couple of 15-inch plastic gook dolls with their little (plastic) rice hats, but I've forgotten where I packed them away to. For many years I kept my actual 'countdown calendar' but it too is currently unaccounted for. Moderated By: pkopsick@yahoo.com
