This weekend I was to give a demo/talk ( sat /sun) of a functional Quad 50 at a northeast modeling conference/show at the Air power museun in Farmingdale NY. I was told the museum does not have the right insurance to allow me to mount , startup or swing the guns they have a liaiblity issue. I can stand by the quad and talk about it. However there will be 101st airborne re-enactors there demowing a m4 Sherman and taking people on rides on a duce and a half along with taking paying indivduals on a suited up ride on a C-47. Me thinks I don't know the right people. I guess I should be gratefull to the museum for borrowing the Quad from a private collector for my talks.
